Art at Linden Gate
In the Yarra Valley, featuring local art and the stainless steel sculptures by 'artist in residence' Ernst Fries.
Art at Linden Gate exhibits artists at all stages of their artistic careers with exhibitions changing every 6 weeks.
Art at Linden Gate participated, for the first time, in the Asia Contemporary Art Show in Hong Kong in March.
As part of Hong Kong Art Week which includes Art Basel and Art Central, the Asia Contemporary Art Show takes over 4 floors of the Conrad Hotel. The rooms became intimate galleries with all types of art from around the world.
The small space proved a challenge to display the large canvases to best effect but we prevailed! Thousands of knowledgeable visitors from asia and beyond visited our gallery and were very intrigued with Jenny Reddin's large, colourful, poured canvases. Many of Jenny's canvases are now on their way to Japan!
Ernst Fries' stainless steel sculptures were also well received particularly Nature's Window which was strategically placed on the window ledge overlooking the Hong Kong mountains!
